A Bright Future For Ballantrae

Getting Active in Dailly

Pitch Improvements On Target In Girvan

Five-a-side footballers in Girvan could soon be celebrating a new playing surface, thanks to a grant of £24,420 from Carrick Futures to contribute to the costs of replacing the surface of the 5-a-side pitch at Hamilton Park, Girvan.

Girvan Youth Trust Secures Funding

Girvan Youth Trust’s Hand in Hand project has secured funding for another year thanks to Carrick Futures. The award of £11,000 will support the employment of a Youth Development worker to help young people with additional support needs.

Carrick Futures invests in residential care home

Carrick Futures has awarded Ballantrae Rural Initiative Care in the Community (BRICC) £75,000 towards the building of a residential care home in Ballantrae, providing they raise the remaining project costs.

This award, provides a major step forward to BRICC in their quest to reach their target of £2M.

Marquee for Festival

Following the success of the Ballantrae Festival of Food and Drink, Carrick Futures made a grant of £10K in 2016 towards the hire of a larger marquee, power and generators, tables, chars and other equipment.

It has been another busy year for Carrick Futures, with new awards totalling around £166,500 to 17 community gorups and voluntary organisations.  This is in addition to commitments made in previous years including the small grants scheme enabling our 6 core community councils to directly fund local community activities.
