That community organisations and groups providing benefit to people living in Dailly can now apply to the fund?
As part of our Fund Review work, we took a look at the Fund's area of benefit. We noticed that when we looked at a map of where Carrick Futures was operating and where the North Carrick Community Benefit Company was operating (a separate organisatio distributing funds also donated by ScottishPower Renewables) that Dailly was right in the middle, and couldn't apply to either Fund. As Dailly has also historically been considered part of South Carrick, so we asked ScottishPower Renewables for permission to change our area of benefit to explicitly include Dailly which they agreed to, and in 2025 Carrick Futures will now be able to start accepting applications from groups providing benefit in Dailly. Good news!
We will be doing a fund 'drop in' in Dailly before the end of March 2025 so people can find out more about how to apply - watch this space!
