Welcome Funding Boost
Carrick Futures were pleased to award a grant of £25,000 to Ayrshire Cancer Support (ACS) in October, which will contribute to to the renovation costs of the Ayrshire Cancer Support facility in Ayr.
ACS offer a number services to help and improve for those living with cancer. The organisation provide respite and in-care accommation, community nursing facilities, counselling services and patient transport. When fully opened, the facility in Ayr, as well as offering a complimentary of services, will be expending their children and young people's service for those aged 5 - 15.
Roger Pirrie, Chair of the Board was delighted to attend the new facility in Ayr to receive a tour of the building and hear more about the renovation project. Roger, pictured below with members of the fundrasing team, including Kirsty McCall (2nd left) said "I am delighted that Carrick Futures are able to contribute to this very worthwhile project. After meeting members of the team in person I have been so impressed with all the work that is being delivered and the efficiency of such a small team. I look forwrad to seeing the facility come to full fruition".
